Businesswings is a German charter airline based in Ahnatal and based at Kassel-Calden Airport .
The company was taken over in December 2019 by the CEP service provider Sovereign Speed GmbH from Hamburg.
Services
The company, founded in 1979, started with drop-off flights for skydivers and today flies both passengers and freight within Europe .
The Do 228-212 and -100, Cessna C 208 Caravan and a Saab 340 converted into a freighter, all of which belong to the company based at Kassel-Calden Airport, are used. The Dornier 228 are stationed at Mannheim City Airport, while the Cessna C 208 and Saab 340 fly from Kassel-Calden.
From Kassel and Mannheim freight is z. B. to Oslo, Paris, Brussels, Helsinki, Bologna and Coventry and Birmingham in Great Britain.
The main customers are companies from the automotive and mechanical engineering sectors, manufacturers of drugs and pharmaceutical goods, dispatchers of aircraft spare parts and Time Matters, a subsidiary of Lufthansa Cargo.
There are also feeder flights for airlines.
