history

Air Traffic was founded in 1969. After Air Pegasus was taken over in March 1974 , several connections from Munich were offered in 1982 with no success . Two years later, an agreement was signed with Lufthansa . Passengers of the latter were able to transfer directly to an Air Traffic private jet after landing.

In March 2015, Air Traffic filed for bankruptcy . As a result, the company has ceased its flight operations; the Air Operator Certificate has expired.

Mainly business charter flights for larger companies from the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region to destinations in Africa were carried out.
