Nightexpress was a German cargo airline based in Frankfurt am Main and based at Frankfurt am Main Airport .
history
Nightexpress was founded in 1984. In 2013 it was bought by the British logistics company Bespoke Distribution Aviation (BDA). After that Nightexpress flew as a subsidiary in their network and corporate design . In 2017, after the sale of the last Short 360 , Nightexpress revoked its registration and ceased operations.
Destinations
Nightexpress mostly transported automobile or machine parts, dangerous goods and valuables as well as printed matter in Europe-wide cargo air traffic as part of night flights .

As of April 2017, the fleet of the Night Express consisted of two short 360-300 - cargo aircraft .
The aircraft were serviced at Siegerland Airport.
Incidents
- On June 30, 1999, a Beechcraft Model 99 ( aircraft registration D-IBEX ) crashed after both engines failed on a cargo flight from London-Luton to Frankfurt. The crew tried to make an emergency landing at Liege Airport . The aircraft did not reach the runway and hit a forest near Seraing ( Belgium ). Both pilots were killed (see also Nightexpress flight 114 ) .
