Fairjets ( own spelling FairJets ) was an aviation company based in Paderborn , which offered private and business flights. In addition to around 25 free pilots , 11 permanent employees were employed at the headquarters at Paderborn / Lippstadt Airport .

The Paderborn company offered flights with private jets and advised on the purchase. In addition, the company was also active in the field of private jet management and took on operational, personnel and administrative tasks for other companies. This involved flight operations, maintenance planning, personnel management and quality assurance of the private jet.

History and structure

FairJets management

The company was founded at the end of 2008 following the takeover of Dix Aviation, which had been established at Paderborn Airport since 1999. After the purchase, the company was renamed Fairjets . The legal form was a limited liability company; it was entered in the commercial register of the Arnsberg District Court . Dirk Bruse and Joachim Krüger were responsible as managing partners.

In October 2011, Fairjets GmbH merged with the Luxembourg company Luxaviation , which was also founded in 2008 , increasing the fleet size of the latter to 17 aircraft. Since then, the services have been offered under the name Luxaviation.
