At times, FLM Aviation carried out scheduled flights on behalf of Dauair and for Manx2 to and from the Isle of Man .

The company was founded in 1976 by Ernst-Otto Mohrdiek at the Uetersen airfield near Hamburg and started its flight operations. On February 1, 2013, the company had to file for bankruptcy .
