Excellent Air (previously Grenzland Air Service ) was a German airline based at Münster / Osnabrück Airport . She worked in business travel charter.
history
The company was founded in 1969 as Grenzland Air Service and has been based at Stadtlohn-Vreden airfield for 38 years . In 2000 the company was renamed Excellent Air . In the spring of 2006 Excellent Air opened a new maintenance hall at Münster / Osnabrück Airport, and in the summer of 2007 the company moved there. In early September 2007 bankruptcy was filed. The three Dornier 328 went to Cirrus Airlines .
tasks
In charter flights, the jets were used for group, event or sports trips. Factory shuttle flights were also handled. Excellent Air's customers at times included several sports clubs (e.g. VfL Wolfsburg ) and music groups. So the company handled the entire European tour of Joe Cocker .
