Nordavia (officially NORDAVIA Flug GmbH ) is a Hamburg- based company that specializes as a trading broker in the brokerage of ad hoc charter flights . The company establishes contact with the aircraft operators on behalf of customers and organizes the processing of the orders. The company commissioned by Nordavia then carries out the charter flight for the customer.

history

The pilot Helmut Heidemann founded Nordavia Flug GmbH in 1976 as a convenience airline . The company initially used a Cessna 310 to transport express freight and people in occasional transport. From February 1997 a rented Beechcraft King Air was operated.

In the 1990s, the company began placing customer orders with other air transport companies if these transport services could not be covered by their own aircraft.

In 2000, Nordavia stopped its own flight operations. After giving up flight operations, Nordavia has been active exclusively as a broker in the placement of charter orders since 2000 .
