FLN Frisia-Luftverkehr ( FLN for short ) is a German regional airline based in Norden and based on the Norden-Norddeich airfield . It is a subsidiary of the North Frisia shipping company .

history

In October 2014 the airline Luftverkehr Friesland Harle was completely taken over, which appeared in public under the brand Inselflieger. The “Die Inselflieger” brand has been used by the entire FLN ever since. This brand also includes the companies that operate the Harle and Baltrum airports .

Destinations

FLN operates a year-round scheduled air transport with fixed departure times from the airport Norddeich for airfield Juist and from the airfield Harle to Wangerooge Airfield . FLN also offers flights to the other East Frisian Islands as well as day trips to Helgoland Airport and sightseeing flights. She is also active in charter air traffic.

Incidents

  • On May 18, 1983, another BN-2 Islander (aircraft registration D-IOLT ) was lost in an accident in Schleswig .
