Complete system (Baden-Württemberg)
As total assets in are Württemberg Baden-Denkmalschutzgesetz areas designated protected according to § 19 Denkmalschutzgesetz Baden-Wuerttemberg. Whole historical city centers or just individual “streets, squares and townscapes” can be placed under protection with their floor plans, streets and squares, green and open spaces and the entirety of the historical building fabric. This is done in the statutes for areas "in whose preservation there is a special public interest for scientific, artistic or local history reasons" by the municipality with the participation of the higher monument protection authority (depending on the location, the regional council of Stuttgart , Karlsruhe , Freiburg or Tübingen ).
