Bösdorf is a municipality in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein . The community includes the districts of Augstfelde, Börnsdorf, Bösdorf, Dodau, Kleinmeinsdorf, Niederkleveez, Oberkleveez, Pfingstberg, Ruhleben, Sandkaten, Steinbusch and Waldshagen.
Geography and traffic
Bösdorf is located on federal highway 76 about 6 km east of Plön .
history
The history of the individual villages from which Bösdorf emerged, such as the Ruhleben estate, can be traced back to the 13th century.
In 1872 the rural communities of Bösdorf, Hohenrade, Nieder-Kleveez and Ober-Kleveez were merged to form a new rural community of Hohenrade, which changed its name to Bösdorf that same year. In the same year, the rural community Friedrichsdorf was incorporated into the rural community Meinsdorf. In 1885 part of the fiscal manor district of Plön was incorporated into Bösdorf .
When the manor districts were dissolved in 1928, parts of the fiscal manor district of Plön were incorporated into Bösdorf and Meinsdorf.
In 1929, the Pfingstberg community was formed from the rural communities Augstfelde and Börnsdorf and from plots belonging to the rural community Meinsdorf.
In 1939 the communities of Meinsdorf and Pfingstberg were dissolved and incorporated into Bösdorf. As in 1937, some parcels were given to the city of Plön .
On January 1, 2014, Bösdorf resigned from the office of Großer Plöner See and has been administered by the city of Plön ever since .

Local council, mayor
The community council of the community Bösdorf consists of thirteen community representatives given the size of the population. With three overhang and compensation mandates, it is composed of 16 members. Of the 16 seats in the municipal council, the CDU has seven seats since the 2018 local elections , the BfB voter community has five seats and the SPD four. Engelbert has been the mayor of the SPD since June 12, 2018 . The first deputy mayor is Hans-Hinrich Westphal ( CDU ) and the second deputy mayor is Regina Hornsmann ( BfB ). The committee for social affairs is chaired by the SPD , the finance committee is chaired by the BfB and the CDU is chaired by the building, road and environmental committee .

economy
Bösdorf is dominated by agriculture, but the number of farmers has decreased continuously in the last few decades. There are two campsites in the municipality with a total of around 800 spaces. Gut Ruhleben is leased to the internationally known fashion designer Jil Sander . The Gut Waldshagen golf course is also to the east of Lake Vierer .

The Bismarck Column (Waldshagen) and the bridegroom oak in the Dodau Forest are worth seeing . In the municipality you can also find the Große Plöner See and the Vierer See in the west, the Dieksee in the northeast, as well as the nature reserve Suhrer See and the surrounding area .
