List of traditional Austrian foods
The list of traditional foods contains those foods or raw materials that are entered in the register of traditional foods of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Agriculture, Regions and Tourism . Not all registered foods are considered traditional nationwide . Therefore, they were recorded by federal state. The entry in a certain federal state only says something about the origin, but nothing about a current distribution nationwide or even internationally.
