The original church building in Aspern was in the east of the village and was destroyed in a flood in 1670. After the new church, built in the west of Aspern, was badly damaged in the course of the Battle of Aspern in 1809 , it was rebuilt from 1810 to 1813.

The original Aspern cemetery was in the form of a churchyard right next to the parish church. In 1892 the new Aspern cemetery was laid out across Langobardenstrasse. The old churchyard was converted into a park, some gravestones and memorial stones are still there today.

In the course of the settler movement of the 1920s, the New Life terraced housing estate (29 residential units) was built in 1921/22 based on designs by the architect Wilhelm Baumgarten . In 1924, the settlement Am Müllnermais (50 residential units), also planned by Wilhelm Baumgarten, was built to the south of it, and a further 54 residential units were added in 1927/28 based on designs by Wilhelm Peterle . The community housing was built from 1932 to 1933 according to the designs of Adolf Stöckl . With only 20 apartments, it is the smallest communal residential complex in today's Danube city. The glazed putti reliefs on two corner windows are remarkable.

This from the early 18th century. The original chapel-like broad pillars with a barred arched opening have a protruding gable roof, which is crowned by a double cross with a sheet metal silhouette of St. Sebastian . On the side there are round-arched dazzling fields, in the back a relief of Archduke Karl in the battle of Aspern , which probably dates from 1879. Inside there is a crucifix and a pietà .

Above the entrance doors of this settlement are some house signs by Hubert Pfaffenbichler , Joana Steinlechner-Bichler , Peppino Wieterik and Otto Zechner , all created in 1969/70. An etched glass cycle by Reimo Wukounig is separately protected .

Napoleon's ski jump, supposedly the largest of its kind in Europe, formed the bridgehead here. 400 horsemen and 5500 soldiers crossed a pontoon bridge here until it broke and was partially torn away by the flood.

The church was built between 1697 and 1699 under the Scottish abbot Sebastian Faber . It is a simple baroque hall building with a two-tower front, similar to the Schottenkirche. Most of the furnishings date from the construction period, but the high altar painting is by Josef Straka from 1887.

In 1980 this design by the IGIRIEN studio group ( Werner Appelt , Franz E. Kneissl and Elsa Prochazka ) was realized as a "multi-purpose church hall". Ancillary rooms can be separated by folding walls around a central raised room. The Church of St. Christoph on Rennbahnweg was built according to the same pattern .

It is a massive wayside shrine with a niche facing east. According to the vernacular, a Marchfeld nobleman was obliged by a duke to go on a military campaign. When he said goodbye to his wife, he swore that should he ever return home from the war in good health, he would erect a torment here.

The castle was first mentioned in a document in 1287, the current building dates back to the late 17th century and was restored after being destroyed in the Napoleonic Wars. It consists of two staggered structures. A branch of the Danube is said to have once been at this intersection, which is why what was then Hirschstetten was often hit by floods. That is why a Nepomuk statue was erected there in 1737, and a chapel was built around it in 1778. St. Nepomuk is considered the patron saint against water hazards.

The core of the Kagran parish church dates from the 15th century and was rebuilt several times, especially in the late 17th century. It has a three-axis facade with volute gable, pilasters and cornices, which in this form dates from the years 1672–1677. A small portal house is built in front. There are buttresses and small arched windows on the nave, the lower late Gothic choir has stepped buttresses and pointed arch windows. The core of the tower with the local stone structure is also Gothic, the bell storey and pointed helmet are from the 17th century. Most of the furnishings date from the 18th century.

The building at Irissee was built in 1964 as a lakeside restaurant for the Vienna International Garden Show based on a design by the architect Kurt Schlauss . It is one of the few examples of the leisure architecture of post-war Viennese modernism. After the restaurant was used as a fitness center for some time, the building stood empty for a long time and fell into disrepair. After a renovation, the building now houses the Korea House of Culture, which opened in May 2012 .

This 252 meter high observation tower was built by Hannes Lintl in 1961–1964 for the International Garden Show . The tower body is made of reinforced concrete, the tower head has three main floors (one of which is a revolving restaurant) and a viewing terrace.

This community building (located across from the entrance to the Gänsehäufel ) is a curiosity: no writing identifies it as a building of the City of Vienna, nor is there a date of construction on the facade. It was built by Erich Franz Leischner in 1939/40 and is a rare example of community housing from that time. The concave curved main facade, which merges into corner loggias, is striking.

This free-standing late historic column basilica was built from 1887 to 1895 according to plans by Victor Luntz . It follows stylistic suggestions from early Christianity and the early Renaissance. The facade has a basilical section, the protruding central mirror is structured with pilasters and cornices as well as blind arches on the upper floors, the central columned pedicle portal has a relief gable field, above which there is a relief medallion Christ Salvator . The side front has Tuscan pilasters and clapboard windows. The campanile is a later addition by Erwin Plevan from 1966. The equipment and furnishings are mostly from the construction period.

This building was built between 1928 and 1930 by Hugo Mayer , Rudolf Frass , Viktor Mittag , Karl Hauschka , Heinrich Schopper , Alfred Chalousch and Johann Rothmüller and comprises 727 apartments. The middle part recedes slightly and thus forms a kind of atrium. Behind it is a large main courtyard which ends in two pylon-like residential towers with balconies running towards the Kaiserwasser.

This facility was built in several stages from 1953 to 1960. The part by Hermann Stiegholzer (1958–1960), which consists of three fourteen- story houses with a T-shaped floor plan, is one of the most distinctive community buildings from that time. To the south, the facades are structured by loggia axes, otherwise only by the windows.

The church was in 1917, designed by Hans Prutscher built by Russian prisoners of war and is therefore popularly Russians Church . It has a gable facade in a Northeast European-inspired Heimat style. It is a free-standing hall building in exposed brick construction, the entrance front of which has a plastered facade with relief medallions. There is a gable turret with a crucifix above the entrance. The interior is a simple hall with pilaster strips and barrel vaults.

The castle dates from the fourth quarter of the 16th century and was adapted from an early historical perspective. The main building is a U-shaped complex with a central tower and a rear courtyard. The structure is divided into groups of three of arched door and window groups, arched windows are also in the upper floor of the tower, which merges with a frieze into a flat tent roof. There is also a Stöckl and a pouring box from the 17th century, an administration building from the middle of the 18th century, as well as a dovecote and a farm wing from the beginning of the 20th century.
