CD41 ITGA2B, gpIIb Megakaryocytes , platelets CD41 is a receptor for fibrinogen, vitronectin and fibronectin. CD41 and CD61 (gpIIIa, ITGB3) form a receptor that is expressed on the blood platelets. Absence of CD41 / CD61 on platelets leads to a disruption of blood clotting. It has recently become known that it is also expressed on haematopoietic progenitor cells.
