The car museums in Austria are usually open all year round with fixed opening times. In addition to car museums, some of which focus on a specific make of car, there are also motorcycle and technology museums that exhibit a few cars.

The table is sorted in descending order according to the number of exhibited passenger cars, and if the number is the same, in alphabetical order in ascending order. In the Stand column , the year is given to which the information on the number of cars on display and special cars refer. The list in the special cars column is alphabetical.
