Mane ( Occitan : Mana ) is a French commune with 963 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Gaudens and the canton of Bagnères-de-Luchon (until 2015: canton of Salies-du-Salat ). The inhabitants are called manois .

location

Mane is located about 70 kilometers south-southwest of Toulouse on the Salat River , which borders the municipality in the northeast. Its tributary Arbas also flows here . Mane is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Salies-du-Salat in the north and northeast, Touille in the east, His in the southeast, Montgaillard-de-Salies in the south, Figarol in the west and Montsaunès in the northwest.
