Morocco took part inthe 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the 14th participation in the Summer Olympics. The Comité Olympique Marocain nominated a total of 67 athletes in 12 sports.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the Taekwondo in Wiam Dislam .

At the Diamond League in Paris on July 6, 2012, the diuretic furosemide , which can be used as a masking agent for doping substances, was found in a doping test by Mariem Alaoui Selsouli and the runner was excluded from the upcoming Olympic Games after she was asked to open the B-sample had waived. The 1500-meter runner Amine Laalou was refused entry after a positive doping result (furosemide) on July 20, 2012 at the Diamond League in Monaco.
