South African national cricket team in Australia in the 2014/15 season

The tour of the South African national cricket team in Australia in the 2014/15 season took place from November 2 to 23, 2014. The international cricket tour was part of the 2014/15 international cricket season and included three Twenty20s and five ODIs . Australia won the Twenty20 series 2-1 and the ODI series 4-1. By winning the ODI series, Australia made it to number 1 in the ICC's ODI world rankings .

classification

It was the second tour of the season for Australia, having previously played against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates . South Africa used the tour in preparation for the 2015 Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand , after having previously contested an ODI series in New Zealand . The last meeting of the two teams in a tour took place in the 2013/14 season in South Africa .
