action

season 1

Scott McCall is an outsider at Beacon Hills High School and struggles badly with his best friend Stiles through everyday school life. After being attacked and bitten by a wolf in the woods one evening , he notices shortly after that his body is developing strange abilities. He realizes that when the moon is full he transforms into a werewolf and that he also has supernatural strengths that make him the new lacrosse star of the school. From the mysterious Derek Hale, a purebred werewolf whose family was wiped out in a fire six years earlier, he learns that this new life does not only have positive sides: From now on Scott has to deal with all sorts of problems in addition to his teenage everyday life deal with the supernatural world. And as if that wasn't enough, he falls in love with Allison Argent, the descendant of a long line of werewolf hunters. A fact that does not prevent him from meeting her, however, because she does not yet know about her family history and his werewolf side. The werewolf who bit Scott in the forest and is an alpha now desperately wants to add him to his pack. To achieve this goal, he terrorizes Scott and those around him. Later it turns out that said wolf is Derek's uncle Peter. Allison learns of her family inheritance from her aunt Kate and that Scott is a werewolf. In the season finale, the hunters and the werewolves meet. After finding out that Kate set the Hales on fire at the time, he kills her. In the end, Derek kills Peter, making him an alpha himself.

season 2

Allison's grandfather, Gerard Argent, who has cancer, comes to town to avenge the death of his daughter Kate. Derek, now an alpha werewolf , begins recruiting a pack that includes Isaac Lahey. Lydia has suffered from chronic hallucinations and temporary memory loss since she was bitten by Peter and survived without becoming a werewolf. Her visions are of a man who turns out to be Peter and a flower with thorns. Derek fulfills Jackson's long-cherished desire to become a werewolf. After the bite, it initially shows no signs of transforming into a werewolf, but side effects, with black blood running out of its nose and ears. Instead, it soon turns out that he transforms into a Kanima . Commanded from outside and therefore without will, Jackson kills numerous people. Stiles, Derek and Scott try to find out who is pulling the strings behind Jackson. They later find out that Matt is behind it all, but Gerard kills him. Allison and Scott try to keep their relationship a secret from Allison's family. Peter can come back to life with Lydia's help. Allison's mother commits suicide to avoid transformation after being bitten by Derek. Allison wants to kill Derek and everything that gets in their way. Scott's mother learns that her son is a werewolf. In the season finale, many things happen at the same time: It turns out that Gerard wants to be turned into a werewolf in order to cure his illness, but since Scott previously administered a werewolf poison to him, he becomes terminally ill. In addition, Lydia Jackson can turn into a normal werewolf because he has a special bond with her. Allison and Scott split up. At the end, a triskele appears on the Hale house, which announces a new pack of alphas.

season 3

First half (3a)

A pack of alpha werewolves led by Deucalion arrives in town. They kidnap the fugitives Boyd and Erica to bind Derek to them. In the meantime, there are numerous mysterious murders. Stiles can quickly develop a theory about these, according to which the series of murders are ritual sacrifices by the Darach, a former druid. Meanwhile, Derek falls in love with the new English teacher Jennifer Blake, who, to his chagrin, is Darach. In the meantime, Deucalion has targeted Scott, who has the potential of a "true alpha", and tries to bind him to himself. Scott's mother as well as Stiles and Allison's father are kidnapped by the Darach, because she has chosen them as the last victim, which is why Scott inevitably joins Deucalion.

Second half (3b)

Suddenly so-called Oni appear in town who are looking for a nogitsune and want to eliminate him. Meanwhile, a new student named Kira Yukimura has joined Scott's group, who very soon plunges into the world of the supernatural and, as it turns out later, is a Kitsune . Stile's body, however, has been taken possession of by the nogitsune, whose aim is only to spread anger, discord and chaos. Meanwhile, the Nogitsune manages to kidnap Lydia. While trying to save her, Allison is fatally injured by an Oni and dies in Scott's arms. When the other friends try to destroy the Nogitsune, Aiden is stabbed to death while fighting an Oni. Lydia, Kira, Stiles and Scott manage to get to the nogitsune. While Lydia and Stiles distract him, Scott bites him in the arm, changing the host's body. The nogitsune staggers back and is pierced with a sword by Kira. He then dissolves into dust and dies. At the end of the season Derek learns that Kate Argent (see season 1) was not killed by Peter - as everyone had assumed - but that the cut in her neck with Peter's claws turned her into a Werjaguar. The season ends with Kate kidnapping Derek.

Season 4

Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Malia and Kira travel to Mexico to rescue Derek from the Calaveras - a Mexican family of hunters. It turns out that they don't know any more about Derek's whereabouts than Scott's friends. The leader of the Calaveras, Araya, explains to Scott that Kate is still alive and that they suspect she has kidnapped Derek. Scott and Braeden find Derek behind a wall in the vault of an old church in an abandoned desert town. Derek was previously turned into a teenager by Kate. Back in Beacon Hills, the five discover that Kate and Derek used to be a couple and that Kate turned him into a teenager because he trusted her at that age. With his help, Kate opens the access to the Hale crypt in order to take the triskele with whose help she wants to control her transformation. Peter catches up with the two of them and explains to Kate that the triskele is a worthless piece of plastic that only works with the help of the placebo effect. Shortly afterwards, the crypt is pelted with smoke bombs. Kate manages to escape while a stranger steals papers from the Hales' safe.

A little later, Malia and Scott run into a berserk and fail to escape. Derek comes to their aid and transforms back into his adult self in battle. A short time later, gruesome family murders occur in Beacon Hills. Stiles and Scott find out that the so-called " benefactors " ( Engl. Benefactor) behind it. He wants to kill all supernatural people and hires various contract killers for it. Lydia finds a death list that includes their names. While Scott tries to save all supernatural people, Stiles and Lydia try to find out who the benefactor is and how to stop the death list. They find out that Lydia's grandmother left her a code and assume that Lydia's grandmother is still alive and the benefactor. But when they follow another lead, it brings them to the oak house, where Stiles and Lydia are almost killed by Branskin, who is only controlled by Meredith - the real benefactor. When Lydia tries to confront Meredith, she says she only wants to talk to one person, namely Peter. Meanwhile, the death list is still active and Scott and Kira try to save all supernatural people, encountering Satomie's pack. They want to hide the pack in an old warehouse with the help of Mr. Argent, but when night falls, they are attacked by a professional team of hunters. But Stiles and Malia manage to stop the death list. When Peter tries to talk to Meredith, he and Lydia find out that the whole idea of the death list was Peter's idea. When he was in a coma, he was right next to Meredith and she could hear his thoughts, but he can't remember anything. When it is all over, everyone wants to get on with their lives again, but Lydia has the feeling that someone is going to die. When Scott and Kira go on a romantic date, Kate and her berserkers attack them. Kate kidnaps Scott and Kira to Mexico and turns Scott into a berserk. Liam, Stiles, Malia, Peter and Derek decide to save Scott, but Peter has other thoughts on his mind, he wants to kill Scott and become alpha again when Scott is about to lose control and his first beta - Liam - to kill, grins Peter. That grin disappears when Scott sheds his berserk armor, looks at him and tells everyone that it was all Peter’s idea. Both start fighting, and Scott wins with the final crushing blow that knocks Peter unconscious. In the end, Kate is shot by her brother in one of the cages in which she sought refuge as a wolf after Derek's attack. She escapes and Chris goes with the Calaveras to find her. Peter is moved to the Eichen House.

Season 5

First half (5a)

Season 5 begins with a scene in the oak house (psychiatry). Lydia tries to inject something, she reacts with a banshee scream. It is also noticeable that she can fight very well. At the end of the intro you can see Aiden who is already dead. The season takes place in a flashback, since after the intro the actual action starts at an earlier point in time. At the beginning you are in the night before the first day of school. The students meet at school to traditionally write their initials on a bookshelf. Before that, Scott is attacked by a werewolf-like man. It can absorb the power of a true alpha with its claws. This can be defeated by Scott, after whom his pack appears. Meanwhile Theo appears. In elementary school, Scott, Stiles, and Theo were good friends. This is not as innocent as it seems, as it is shown in episode 4 that he is helping the "Dread Doctors". Ultimately, the friends arrive at the school and sign there. Stiles sees the initials of Derek Hale. In addition to his letters, Scott also writes down Allison Argent's. In the following episodes you learn that the Dread Doctors transform some teenagers into hybrid beings, so-called chimeras . These unconsciously kill people. Deputy Jordan Parrish disposed of these corpses, also unconsciously, and cremated them on the Nemeton. The antagonists of this season wear masks and change the rules of the supernatural world. In the end, Malia learns that her mother, the desert wolf, is looking for her and wants to kill her. Liam's girlfriend Hayden dies and Scott is attacked and badly wounded by Liam, before Liam can kill Scott, Liam's best friend Mason comes and tells Liam about Hayden's death and Liam goes to the dead Hayden, deeply sad. Since Scott was not killed by Liam, but he is not supposed to be present in Theo's vision of the future, Theo has to kill him himself, but can still be resuscitated by his mother in time. The sheriff is found seriously injured by Stiles. Theo paralyzes Lydia and then revives Hayden, Tracy, Corey and Josh at the Nemeton, who now form his own pack with him.

Second half (5b)

After Scott is resuscitated, his wounds do not heal. The pack is broken and Stiles' father is about to die. At her mother's request, Lydia is taken to the oak house, while Malia and Braeden are looking for the desert wolf and Liam feels guilty and does not want to talk to Scott anymore. Stiles' father can ultimately be saved and Chris comes back to Beacon Hills to help Scott and his friends. In the meantime, the last chimera, a success of the Dread Doctors, is out and about in Beacon Hills, killing more and more people. Stiles and Scott reconcile after a conversation between the sheriff and Stiles and then try to reunite the pack. Lydia is still paralyzed in the oak house and from now on gets help from Meredith. Malia and Braeden are still too busy with the desert wolf and Kira is now with her mother in the desert to learn from the Skinwalkers how to control her powers. Also, after talking to Mason, Liam decides that he would like to apologize to Scott. Scott initially rejects him and then saves Kira and her mother from the desert with Stiles. Since Kira didn't do the skinwalker's job properly, they wanted Kira to become one of them. The desert wolf arrives with Deaton in Beacon Hills, where a fight breaks out between her and Malia. It turns out that Corinne (the desert wolf) wants her powers back from Malia. Deaton can stop her from killing Malia at the last second because there is no full moon. Theo, who now has his own pack, has brought Deucalion, who has gone blind again, back to Beacon Hills. He also has some problems because Hayden and Corey don't really want to be in his pack. Hayden would rather be with Liam and Corey is too scared. Only Josh and Tracy seem to enjoy killing. After Malia and Liam rejoin the pack, they all make a plan to get Lydia back out of the oak house before Dr. Valack can kill them. The first attempt fails and Lydia is kidnapped by Valack. Corey was critically injured by Parrish and Kira is still out of control. You can rescue Lydia with the help of Stiles and Parrish and get out of the Oak House after Mason and Hayden turn the electricity back on. The pack finds out that a teenager is hiding under the beast, but does not know it. The first human under the beast now wants to get out, and after that happens the teenager will be gone from under the beast. Gerard, who was healed by his son, tells Lydia the story of how the Argent ancestor Marie-Jeanne Valét killed the first beast, her own brother Sebastien. It also turns out that Parrish is actually already dead, he was killed by an explosion in the war. The moment Scott, Stiles, and Allison took the risk of the dark to find the Nemeton, he was resuscitated by the Hellhound. The beast attacks the school and it turns out that Mason is the beast as he is also a chimera. Corey takes him with him before Scott can explain everything to him. Meanwhile, Theo kills Josh after Deucalion tells him that this will give him new strength. Mason is kidnapped by the Dread Doctors, turns into the beast and kills the Dread Doctors. The beast, in turn, suddenly transforms back into Sebastien Valét, which means that Mason seems to be gone forever.

In the season finale, Chris, Gerard and Parrish and Scott, Liam and Lydia are on the search for the beast to kill Sebastien and to save Mason. In the meantime, Kira drives back to the desert to the Skinwalkers in order to save Mason and kill Theo with their help. But they tell her that it won't happen without a price. Meanwhile, Malia fights with her mother and Theo kills Tracy. The pack finds out that Lydia can save Mason by shouting his real name. It also turns out that Deucalion worked with Scott the whole time, is actually not blind at all and Chris was privy to their plan. He turns against his father. Lydia and Hayden are injured in the fight with Sebastien, but Lydia can be cared for and healed by Melissa in good time. Hayden seeks refuge with Deaton. Theo had previously pushed Lydia into a lower tunnel, then Deucalion breaks his neck. It does not die, but remains there for the time being to heal. Deucalion is shot by Gerard. There is a final showdown between Liam, Scott, Parrish and Sebastien. In the meantime, Kira gets Lydia out of the tunnels. Lydia shouts Mason's name and Sebastien transforms back into Mason. Parrish can kill the beast and the friends think they are safe - until Theo shows up. Kira defends himself against his attack and tells him that the Skinwalkers have a message for him, his sister wants to see him. She rams her sword into the ground and Theo's sister crawls out and pulls him with her. In the meantime, with the help of Stiles, Malia defeated her mother by stealing her powers. In the end, Stiles is greeted by his father in the police force, Hayden was made a werewolf by Scott, Mason is alive, Chris treats his father and then leaves him, Kira goes with the Skinwalkers to learn to control their powers, Stiles tells Lydia that Sebastien got visions of Allison and thus saved Scott's life in the death. Scott goes back to the bookshelf and looks at their signatures. Then he sits down with Lydia and Stiles. It is later seen that a Nazi werewolf that was mentioned earlier in the season has now escaped.

Season 6

After the beast is defeated, everyone goes about their daily lives. But when Hayden and Liam are about to go on their first real date, a driverless car rolls into a tree and a frightened boy jumps out of the vehicle and tells them not to let them come for him. Scott and his friends are amazed because they don't know what they're up against. When Stiles talks to Lydia about it, she comes across a song called "Riders on the Storm". Suddenly it becomes clear to Stiles that they are ghost riders who bring people or any shapeshifter into the so-called "hunt" so as not to kill them, but to remove them completely from reality, so that nobody remembers this person anymore, almost always a relic of them remains in the world. Stiles is the first to be forgotten and the Ghost Riders have brought him. At the same time, the Nazi werewolf works as a teacher at the BHHS.

In the further course Scott and his pack try to protect all those who are threatened to be taken by the ghost riders. Little by little, Lydia can remember minimally that someone was erased from her memory, but initially doesn't know who. Claudia, Stile's mother, was suddenly brought into being by the hunt to fill Sheriff Stilinski's void so that he could never remember Stiles. Lydia tries to put herself into hypnosis to find the forgotten. She frantically wrote "iniquity" on a piece of paper, with the words arranged to make up the word Stiles. Nobody really believes that Stiles is real.

Meanwhile, strange murders occur in which the victims' pineal gland (part of the brain) is missing. Scott and his friends try to catch a ghost rider to find out how to save their friends. Thanks to Mason, they know how to do it. The ghost riders come to lightning and are invisible to those not affected. Then the idea of using a lightning rod came up. But to be able to control so much energy that the lightning has, you need a special power, the power of Theo. Liam and Hayden try together with Mr. Douglas, the new teacher, to build an arrester and initiated him into the world of the supernatural, knowing everything about it. Liam brings Theo back with the help of Kira's sword.

In the hunt, Stiles meets Peter. Both try to break out of the hunt, but only Peter succeeds for the time being, as he is supernatural and will heal if he tries. Peter is completely burned back in the real world and has Stiles key in hand. Malia and Scott find him and at first don't know who it is, but suddenly get all memories of him back. When Scott and Lydia are in Stile's car, they hear a voice over the police radio. It's Stiles, so they now firmly believe that Stiles is real.

After a while, everyone realizes that the hunt turns town after town into a ghost town, but leaves behind a lost soul that is a banshee. Mr. Douglas wants to make use of this power, since he has already tried to use the Ghost Riders to win World War II. He controls the hellhound Parrish and from Beacon Hills all but Scott, Liam, Lydia, Malia and Theo have been brought. Malia, Scott and Lydia almost died when Malia, Scott and Lydia tried to use an emotional connection to remember Stiles and bring him back into the real world. But their efforts are paying off because Stiles is back. Scott and Stiles try to stop the Nazi from turning Beacon Hills into a ghost town.

In the end they manage to get everyone out of the hunt, but have released a new threat in return.

School is over for Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Malia. While Scott worked as an assistant lacrosse coach with Coach Finstock over the summer, Lydia was preparing for college, Stiles was accepted into the FBI student program and has already left town. Malia is overjoyed to finally be able to leave Beacon Hills to travel to Paris.

In the meantime, the new school principal - Mrs. Martin - has moved Liam, Mason and Corey to twelfth grade, which is their final year. While Mason and Corey are looking forward to their so-called "Senior Year", Liam is plagued by the move - and thus the separation - from his girlfriend Hayden. Since she was his anchor, he now has problems controlling his anger again. On the last day of the summer vacation, Liam, Scott and the lacrosse team see a bloody wolf walking onto the field and then disappearing again. When Scott and Liam follow the animal, they find a whole bunch of dead wolves hidden in the forest.

The weird animal events haven't diminished in the meantime. On their first day of school, rats run around the school, which Liam and Mason later find dead in the tunnels below the city. The two try to cope with this thing on their own, since from now on they generally have to do something like this without Scott, Stiles, Lydia and Malia, but can not make sense of it. In addition, Liam, Mason and Corey have to deal with the new and thoroughly curious trust teacher Tamara Monroe. Meanwhile, Parrish has to fight a second hellhound named Hallwyn. He can drive him out with the help of Liam and Mason. Hallwyn is later killed by Monroe.

While the three are looking for the new player Aaron, the boys find an unrecognizable corpse in the boys' locker room after a lacrosse test match. It is apparently not Aaron, however, as they find the boy studying in a classroom a short time later.

Then Liam's old schoolmate Brett disappears after helping with the friendly. His sister Lori begs the pack to help her find him. Scott, Malia and Liam stand ready to help with the search. It quickly turns out that the supervisor, Ms. Monroe, is chasing Brett through the tunnels with Gerard's help to kill him. Liam and Lori find Brett, but he has already been poisoned, so they have to get him out of the tunnels quickly. This was all a trap, now that another hunter is waiting for the three on the road. Since Brett and Lori climbed up first, they both get run over and die. Many people now stop on the street and see Liam in his werewolf form.

Meanwhile, Lydia, Mason and Corey were busy with the puzzle about Brett at school. While Lydia was hanging on to the new student Nolan, he was busy hanging on to Mason and Corey. After Aaron whispered about a few things, Nolan introduces himself to the two boys and starts a conversation with them, although he really only wants to get them to betray themselves. He stabbed Corey's hand with a ballpoint pen and shows it, because it heals so quickly, to his classmates who now leave the room out of fear and later avoid the boys and Lydia.

Everyday school life turns into a gauntlet run for the three boys because many of their classmates now know what they really are.The three of them avoid them and force Nolan, his friend Gabe and the rest of the lacrosse team Liam into an empty classroom where they all beat him up to make him angry, whereupon he would transform. The rest of the students and even the teacher Ms. Finch just watch. While Masons tries to help his best friend go wrong, Corey has brought in Coach Finstock to end the fight.

In the meantime, Scott, Lydia and Malia try to negotiate with the hunters with the help of Chris, but that doesn't work out because neither Gerard nor Ms. Monroe can talk to them. This meeting is suddenly interrupted as a new creature, unknown to the pack, increases the fears of the Beacon Hills residents so much that they use violence against the supernatural humans in Beacon Hills.

Theo reappears when the hunters capture and torture him and the last two members of Satomi's pack, Jiang and Tierney. Satomi herself has already been killed because she refused to fight her. The three managed to escape, but were promptly arrested by Sheriff Stilinski for murder and taken to the police station. Now the whole city is against the supernatural. Even the police station is no longer safe. It turns out that Theo is innocent after he gets the other werewolves to confess.

He is released. While the pack tries to free Jiang and Tierney, the area is surrounded by Monroe and the hunters. They give the sheriff a chance to deliver Jiang and Tierney to them by midnight. Everyone refuses, as the two only acted out of self-defense. After a failed attempt to cheer the hunters under the bodies of two police officers who were about to kill themselves because of the creature, Agent McCall appears and makes a deal with the hunters. Jiang and Tierney are handed over to the FBI and the pack has to leave town immediately and not be allowed to return.

Of course, Scott and his friends are just pretending and hiding at the veterinary clinic for a while. Every further attempt to be one step ahead of the hunters fails and the last one ends with the McCall house being shot at and Lydia, Melissa, Mason and Agent McCall being shot. However, before all of this happens, they find out Gerard and Monroe's plan. You want to kill all the supernatural creatures in the world.

Jackson and Ethan, who are now a couple, have to find out for themselves when they are attacked by two hunters in their London apartment. The two are overwhelmed and decide to visit Beacon Hills and Scott again. There, however, they are immediately recognized by Monroe, captured and tortured.

Meanwhile, after Mason and Corey found out with the help of Deaton that the new creature is the so-called "Anuk-Ite", Scott and Malia try to build an army and take the help of Deucalion, since he has already fought Gerard and knows his tricks, in claim. He refuses to fight, but is at their side as an advisor.

Malia and Lydia meanwhile bring Hallwyn to life. He can tell you that you are not allowed to look the Anuk-Ite in the eyes, because then you freeze to stone. Scott and Liam find out in the meantime that Ms. Finch herself is an alpha werewolf of their own pack and that their daughter, Quinn, who had met the pack at the police station, is actually already dead and one of the two halves of the Anuk-Ites. The other is the student Aaron. The two team up and the Anuk-Ite comes to life again and turns the people in the city to stone.

Derek is on the run from the FBI because they think he committed mass murder. Chris finds him, but so does Kate, and she wants to see him dead. Derek and Chris can just stop Kate before they both flee. Malia and Scott try to learn from Deucaelion how to fight blind, but it's harder than they think. Nolan allies himself with Liam and is punished for it by Gabe. Malia, Scott, Lydia, Peter and Deucaelion are shot at by the hunters.

Fortunately, Stiles and Derek manage to save her in time. Deucaelion dies, however. The group tries to find out how to stop the Anuk-Ite while Liam, Mason, Corey, Melissa and Nolan are surrounded by the hunters in the hospital. Parrish has been locked in a freezer in the Oak House as it will kill him. Sheriff Stilinski and Agent McCall are also kept busy by the hunters.

In the meantime, Stiles and Lydia can free Jackson and Ethan. However, Lydia, Jackson, Ethan, Malia and Peter are petrified by the Anuk-Ite. Scott was shot with a poisonous bullet by Monroe. Derek can save him, but is petrified by the Anuk-Ite in the form of Jennifer Blake. Scott wears his eyes wide while fighting the Anuk-Ite because he can fight him that way. Stiles can destroy the Anuk-Ite with boar moth. Malia can restore his eyesight with the help of a kiss. Jackson and Ethan are on the verge of being killed by a hunter when Coach Finstock incapacitates the attacker with a lacrosse bat and Jackson says he is happy to see him again.

Stilinski stands up to the young Deputy Hunters and gets them to release Parrish and Agent McCall. The three head to the hospital where the rest of the group is already fighting the hunters. They can all be defeated after Anuk-Ite's fear is gone. Gabe dies and Monroe escapes. Meanwhile, Chris and Gerard quarrel. When Kate mocks her father and Chris leaves, Kate kills Gerard.

The residents of Beacon Hills got along better with their supernatural fellow citizens. Melissa and Chris are a couple, as is Malia and Scott. Liam and Nolan are co-captains of the lacrosse team. Monroe is not finished with her plan, however. The final episode will be told by Scott in the future. He in turn tells the story of the young werewolf Alec, who is pursued by Monroe and other hunters. Scott tells him that they have allies and friends around the world like Mason, Corey, Dr. Deaton, Theo, Peter, Melissa, Chris, Sheriff Stilinski, Jackson and Ethan, have who would fight for and with them. At this point, Stiles, Malia, Lydia, Derek and Liam arrive and Chris says goodbye to them both. Alec asks Scott if they are all supernatural, whereupon Scott says no and Stiles winks at him. Scott asks Alec if he's ready to fight. This is unsure because Monroe swore to him that she would find him and kill him because he was a monster. Scott tells him what he once told Liam; “You are not a monster. You are a werewolf, like me ”. Scott's eyes light up red for a moment and Alec finally agrees. The group starts walking while the full moon shines behind them.

characters

Scott McCall
Scott is just a normal boy who is an outsider in high school until he is bitten by Peter Hale . His only and best friend has been Stiles for a long time. Scott's parents are divorced, he lives with his mother. He has a bad relationship with his father, which is made worse by Scott's lies, since his father knows nothing about his existence as a werewolf. Scott works as a temp at Dr. Deaton, who supports him as a druid in his existence as a werewolf. He also finds a mentor in the werewolf Derek Hale. The powers given to him by the bite make him co-captain of the school's lacrosse team. He falls in love with new student Allison Argent and they become a couple. At the end of the second season, however, she separates from him. Unlike most werewolves, Scott has no tendency to violence, which is shown by the fact that when problems arise, he always looks for a way that no one gets hurt. In the course of the first half of the third season it also becomes apparent that Scott could become a "true alpha" through his strength of character, which he ultimately succeeds in. During the second half of season 3, he falls in love with Kira Yukimura. From season 4 they are a couple. After Kira leaves Beacon Hills, Scott meets Malia Hale in the second part of Season 6.
Mieczyslaw "Stiles" Stilinski
Stiles is Scott's best friend. The two have already experienced a lot together and tried together to overcome the hurdle called high school. He's also on the Lacrosse Team at Beacon Hills High School, but he's a really bad player and usually sits on the bench. Stiles initially doesn't believe Scott was bitten by a werewolf. Later, it is he who familiarizes himself with the relevant mythology . Stiles is rather clumsy and has a weird sense of humor that comes out especially in difficult situations. His father is the city sheriff, which enables him to get police information. His mother Claudia has been dead for a few years. Stiles has been in love with Lydia for years, who initially doesn't want to know anything about him. When the opportunity arises to become a werewolf himself, he refuses. The nickname “Stiles” is not his real first name, but a modification of his surname that he himself chose. In the second half of the third season, a nogitsune takes possession of him. At the beginning of the fourth season he meets Malia, but the two separate again in the middle of the fifth season. In the middle of season 5, Stiles accidentally kills Donovan who tried to kill him. This bothers him a lot because he's scared of losing Scott because of it. Scott had found out through Theo, which was Theo's intention, so Scott had no longer trusted Stiles, which broke their friendship. In the middle of season 5, Scott forgives Stiles again and sees that it was self-defense. He is the greatest help in saving Lydia from the oak house. He helps Malia defend herself against the desert wolf and saves her. At the end of 6a, his father greets him at the police station. In the sixth season, Sheriff Stilinski gives the full name of Stiles, Mieczyslaw Stilinski, named after his mother's father.
Allison Argent
Allison moves to Beacon Hills at the beginning of season one and is Scott's friend and Lydia's best friend through season three. Allison's family has hunted werewolves for generations . She is manipulated by her aunt Kate and her grandfather Gerard into breaking her family's code of honor by attacking werewolves who have not killed anyone. She's also a pretty good archer , which helps her hunt werewolf several times, although from the second half of the third season she has difficulty aiming because she gets delusions from her dead aunt. She shoots Lydia during training, but Isaac catches the arrow in time and thus prevents her death. At the end of the season, Allison gets together with Isaac. At the end of the third season, she is fatally injured by the Oni and dies in Scott's arms. (Season 3b)
Derek Hale
Derek is a werewolf in Beacon Hills. He had yellow eyes until he was 15 years old, which changes when he has to kill his friend Paige to relieve her from suffering because she was bitten by an alpha and she is about to die; since then he had blue eyes until the season finale of the first season. His entire family, apart from him and his sisters Laura and Cora, are killed by Kate Argent in a fire that only survives, seriously injured, by his uncle Peter Hale. Since then he has had a hatred of the Argents and he advises Scott to stay away from them. He leaves town in his teens but comes back after his sister Laura was killed by an alpha werewolf to investigate. Unlike Scott, who was bitten, he has been a werewolf since birth and is completely in control of himself during the transformation. Initially, Scott teaches lycanthropy , but they often have different opinions on methods. After killing his uncle Peter in the first season finale, he becomes an alpha himself and creates his own pack. In the third season he is recruited by an alpha pack, for which he would have to kill his beta werewolves, which he is not ready to do. At the end of the first half of the third season, he gives up his alpha rank to heal his dying sister Cora. At the beginning of the second half of the third season he is tortured by the Calaveras along with his uncle, but can be freed and returns to Beacon Hills. At the end of the third season he is kidnapped by Kate, but can be rescued by Scott's pack at the beginning of the fourth season. However, he has been rejuvenated by Kate until a point in which he was in love with Kate and trusted her because she needs him to control her powers as a werjaguar. At the end of the fourth season we see Derek attacking Kate as a black wolf and seriously injuring it. He then leaves Scott and his pack with Braeden and stays in Mexico.

However, at the beginning of the series it can be assumed that Lydia has some secrets with her. She befriends Allison right from the start, who soon becomes her best friend. Lydia is also the last one to find out about the secrets in Beacon Hills. She goes to the winter ball accompanied by Stiles. After a while, she notices that Jackson is missing and goes out to find him. On the lacrosse field she is attacked by Peter Hale and she is bitten by him. Stiles comes to her aid, but can only make sure that Jackson finds her because Peter forces him to come with him. Lydia comes to the hospital seriously injured. She now has the ability to sense other people's deaths and a scream so loud that she can reach all the werewolves in the area that Ms. Blake calls her a banshee . She had a relationship with Aidan, but blames him for the ritual murders of the first half of the third season and therefore doesn't want anything to do with him anymore. She still has a hard time getting over his death at the end of season 3 and therefore doesn't want to go out with anyone for the time being. In the fourth season she learns to control her powers and helps Parrish. After Allison's death, he and Chris Argent leave Beacon Hills.
Kira Yukimura
Kira is the daughter of the new history teacher at the school. She is also, like her mother, a kitsune, which she only gradually finds out in the second half of season 3. She falls in love with Scott. At the beginning of the 4th season she meets him and is also accepted into the lacrosse team. At the end of season 4, she gets her first fox tail when she manages to activate her self-healing powers. At the beginning of the 5th season she gets a visible orange fox aura during a fight, which envelops her, but which later causes her great difficulties, because the fox in her gradually takes control of her, so she leaves together in the 8th episode with her parents in Beacon Hills, fearful of harming Scott or the others. She and her mother go to the skinwalkers who are supposed to teach her how to better control the fox in themselves, but since she doesn't do the skinwalker's tasks properly, they want her to stay with them. She still cannot control her powers and in the end even attacks Brett's sister Lori, Lori can only be saved by Scott in the end. She goes back to the Skinwalkers to ask for help for Mason and against Theo, they warn them that they will not help without a price on their part. Kira agrees and can ultimately defeat Theo through his sister. Then she goes with the skinwalkers to control her powers.
Malia Tate / Hale
Malia is a Werkojotin who appears for the first time during the third season. When she drives in the car with her mother and little sister one night, she turns into a Werkojotin during the full moon. Both her mother and sister died in the subsequent traffic accident. Because of the shock, Malia remains a coyotine for years - unable to transform into a human again - and tries to survive near the scene of the accident. Stiles and Scott meet her in the woods and try to help her. Scott transforms her back into a human with the roar of an alpha. She first returns to her grieving father, but is shortly afterwards admitted to the Eichen-Haus psychiatric facility. There she meets Stiles again and reproaches him for having turned her back into a person and that she has now got into the uncomfortable situation of not being able to tell her father what really happened in the accident. Stiles promises to turn Malia back into a coyotine if she helps him get into the basement of the mental health facility. When they break into the basement, they spend their first night sleeping together. Malia learns that Stiles is possessed by the Nogitsune and finds the body of Corporal Rhys - the first host of the Nogitsune. After Stiles is freed from nogitsune, she goes to Beacon Hills High School and begins to learn from Scott how to control her skills as a work oyotin. At the beginning of the fourth season she gets together with Stiles, but the two separate again in the middle of the fifth season. Liam Dunbar
Liam is the newcomer to Beacon Hills High School. He was kicked out of his old school for demolishing his teacher's and coach's car. Liam is a terrific lacrosse player and at the beginning of the fourth season he is bitten in the arm by Scott as the only way to save his life because he has to catch Liam with his teeth or he would have fallen off the roof. He then turns into Scott's first beta werewolf. Like Scott, he did not become a werewolf of his own free will and has a hard time coming to terms with it as he is very impulsive and has no control over his anger due to an ICS (impulse control disorder). In the fourth season, Liam receives a triskele from Derek, which is supposed to help young betas with the transformation. In the fifth season he meets Hayden Romero, who initially didn't want to know anything about him. In the fifth season, he is kidnapped by the Dread Doctors together with Hayden and later wants to kill Scott under the influence of the super moon, as Scott has not kept his promise to do everything to save Hayden's life (he did not want to transform her). He doesn't want to talk to him afterwards, but after a few conversations with Mason and Hayden he does. They make up and he helps free Lydia from the oak house. He and Hayden get back together after Theo resuscitates them. He helps his best friend Mason rid himself of the beast, and he and Hayden kiss after Scott bit them and turned them into a werewolf.

When Stiles kills Donovan, Theo sees it and tells Scott about it, but changes the story so that it looks to Scott like Stiles acted violently. He wants to own Scott's pack and steal his power, which he almost succeeds. To do this, he locks Scott and Liam in the high school library at the super moon, as only Liam can steal Scott's strength. When this doesn't work because of Hayden's death, he kills Scott himself and shortly thereafter awakens the failures of the Dread Doctors at the Nemeton and makes the Chimeras his pack. He has the heart of his sister, whom he froze to death in a river in Beacon Hills to get her heart, which makes him a genetic chimera. Deucalion later teaches him how to steal the power of the other creatures, and then kills Josh and Tracy. He puts on the mask of the Dread Doctors to find out who is hiding behind the beast. Theo wants the power of the beast, but overestimates himself because he thinks he can defeat it with his newfound power, but fails to do so and shortly afterwards is dragged into an abyss by his deceased sister and disappears. He is later retrieved and made an ally of Scott's pack.
Aaron
Aaron is a supporting character who will be introduced in the second half of the sixth season. He is a student at Beacon Hills High School and also part of the lacrosse team. When he puts on his helmet for training, countless spiders crawl out of the helmet and into his mouth. This made him the first face of the Anuk-Ite.
Agent Rafael McCall
He is Scott's father and thus Melissa's ex-husband, with whom he has a bad relationship and almost no contact. In the second half of the third season he comes to Beacon Hills to work as an FBI agent to uncover the increasing number of murder cases there. When he finishes his work in Beacon Hills, he decides to stay there, which neither Melissa nor Scott pleased. Due to the high number of unsolved cases, he opens an investigation against Sheriff Stilinski to prove his ineptitude. Scott and Melissa can, however, prevent him from losing his job. At the beginning of the fourth season he leaves the city again because the relationship with his family has not improved and he feels undesirable.
Ethan and Aiden Steiner
Ethan and Aiden were both omegas in a pack of brutal werewolves. However, Deucallion helped them develop their skills and together transform into one great creature. They killed the rest of their pack and joined the alpha pack. The two twins first appeared in the first half of season three. Aiden had an on / off relationship with Lydia. Ethan was dating Danny, but they split in the second half of season three. At that time, they tried to get Derek to kill his pack and join the Alpha pack. However, when this is defeated by Scott's pack, Ethan and Aiden want to be accepted into his pack. Ethan and Aiden do everything they can to gain Scott's trust and help him cope with his new role as Alpha. In the season finale of the third season, however, Aiden dies. Ethan then leaves town to process his pain. In the second half of season six, Ethan returns to Beacon Hills to help Scott and his pack fight the Anuk-Ite. It turns out he's with Jackson now.
Christopher Argent
He is the father of Allison, Victoria's husband and the head of the family. In the first season he hunted and killed werewolves with his family. Also, the most important thing for him was to protect his daughter. Christopher was on good terms with his sister Kate until he learned that she was breaking the family's code of honor and setting the Hale house on fire. At the end of the second season, Victoria is bitten by Derek and therefore commits suicide. A world collapses for Chris. In the first half of season three, Chris and Allison move into a new house to leave his old life behind. However, this doesn't work for very long as an Alpha Pack and a Darach threaten the city. In the second half of season three, Allison helps save Stiles. In doing so, however, she dies. Chris cannot cope with this properly and leaves the country with Isaac. In the fourth season, Scott calls Chris because he needs his help. As the season progresses, Chris learns that Kate is still alive and teams up with other hunters to hunt her down. In the first half of the sixth season he returns to Beacon Hills to investigate a mysterious series of deaths. He works with Melissa and the two soon become a couple.
Danny Mahelani
Danny is a recurring character. He's Jackson's best friend and was in a relationship with Ethan during the second half of season three. He is the goalkeeper of the lacrosse team and plays the trumpet in the school choir. Because of his outstanding computer skills, he is often of great help to Scott and his friends.
Deputy Jordan Parrish
He works for the Beacon County Sheriff Station. He came to Beacon Hills because he was “drawn” there and there were many vacancies due to the high death rate. Parrish is a retired military man and was part of the Hazardous Device Team, which makes him very familiar with bombs and explosive materials. Over the course of the third season, he repeatedly comes unintentionally in connection with the supernatural and the ritual murders in Beacon Hills. In the fourth season his name appears on a kill list for supernatural creatures, but nobody knows what kind of creature he is. In the first half of season five, Parrish subconsciously carries all of the dead chimeras to the Nemeton. Lydia does some research and finds out that he is a hellhound whose job it is to protect the supernatural.
Katherine Argent
Kate is Christopher's sister and therefore also belongs to the werewolf hunter family. However, the code of honor is not important to her, she just enjoys killing werewolves. In the season finale of the first season, it turns out that she set the Hale house on fire. When Peter found out, he ripped out her throat. Thereupon she was believed to be dead. In truth, however, she was not killed by it, but turned into a werjaguar. The code of honor states that in such a case one must commit suicide. However, Kate only wanted one thing: survive! She left the country and hid in Mexico. However, Kate had no control over herself as a Werjaguar and she was found and hunted by a Mexican family of hunters. In the series finale, she kills her father Gerard.
Melissa McCall
Melissa is Scott's mother and works as a nurse. In the second season, she unwittingly learns that Scott is a werewolf. She is shocked, scared, and confused and tries to avoid him for a while. However, they get along again soon and Melissa supports her son wherever she can. Her job as a nurse gives her access to the hospital's confidential information, which often turns out to be of great help.
Peter Hale
Peter is Derek's uncle and the only one who survived the fire in the Hale house. For several years he has been healing himself very slowly until he has enough strength to start his vengeance. In season one, he transforms Scott because he wants to put together his own pack. His plan is to find the person who caused the fire. He also succeeds in this in the season finale. However, Peter doesn't care if and who he hurts, as long as he achieves what he wants. At the end of the first season, Peter is killed by his nephew Derek. This now takes on the rank of alpha. In the second season he uses Lydia, who has a strong connection to death, so that he is resurrected. In the second half of the third season, Peter learns that he was also Malia's biological father.
Sheriff Noah Stilinski
Noah is the local sheriff of Beacon Hills and the father of Stiles. He does not have a good relationship with his father as he was violent towards him and his mother. So now he tried to do everything right in bringing up Stiles. His wife Claudia died before the series began. As a sheriff, he often despaired of seemingly unsolvable cases. That changes when he learns about all the supernatural in Beacon Hills.

Mythology of the series

Teen Wolf makes use of numerous references to the mythologies of different cultures with a special focus on human-animal shape-shifters . The basic structure is the Nordic - Celtic mythology (such as Nemeton, Druids), there are also numerous references to the Greek (such as the legend of Lykaon , Deucalion ). The names of the werewolf species are also borrowings from the Greek alphabet : Alpha Α α , the first letter; Beta Β β , the second letter and Omega Ω ω , the last letter in the Greek alphabet. With the Kanima in the second season there are also references to the South American world of legends. In the second half of the third season, reference is also made to mythical elements of the Southeast Asian region, especially Japanese mythology (e.g. Kitsune , Oni ). The "Werkojote", which will also be introduced in the second half of the third season, in turn - coyotes (also known as prairie wolves) only live on the North American continent - can be traced back to the mythology of the Native Americans .

The world of Teen Wolf is not only rich in various types of shape shifters, but also rich in symbols and rituals. In particular, the triskele appears again and again in different variations (e.g. in a round shape as a tattoo on Derek's back, in a hook shape as the logo of the alpha pack or as a door ornament on a Japanese shrine ). The possible interpretations are diverse. In relation to werewolves, it can stand for the three types of werewolves. Elsewhere it is associated with the Buddhist mantra "Three things cannot hide for long: the sun, the moon and the truth."

Other symbols:

  • the spiral - a sign of vengeance among werewolves
  • the five-fold knot - the identification symbol of the druids

Werewolves

Werewolves are supernatural hybrid beings , half human, half wolf , with the ability to change shape, and the protagonists of the series. Most of the time, they show themselves in their human form, but can, to some extent, and less often, completely transform themselves into wolves. What they all have in common is the growth of fangs , claws and fur in their animal form.

Werewolves are much stronger, faster and more agile than humans; they also have heightened senses and the ability to heal injuries and chronic diseases (such as scars , asthma , epilepsy or cancer ) within a very short time. This also makes them insensitive to the effects of alcohol . Other special skills are negative pain transfer from a person or living being to relieve their pain, as well as the ability to transfer thoughts by inserting the extended claws into the recipient's neck .

A werewolf's powers are strongest under the influence of the full moon , especially when it comes to a super full moon , where the moon is particularly close to the earth. In the night of a lunar eclipse, however, they lose their strength.

Dangerous for werewolves can u. a. the following substances are:

  • Rowan berries or mountain ash - leads to hallucinations and a general weakening, sprinkled in powder form creates an impenetrable barrier for them;
  • Moonstone (engl. Moonstone ) - suppresses the form versatility and results of extended wear to the complete loss of control;
  • Eisenhut and Wolf root (engl. Wolfsbane ) - is highly toxic to Werwölfe can for immediate loss of consciousness lead and prevents healing processes;
  • Mistletoe (English mistletoe ) - are highly toxic to werewolves and humans;
  • Wolf lichen (. English wolf union ) - is highly toxic to wolves and foxes.

In the Teen Wolf mythology there are three types of werewolves: alphas, betas and omegas.

alpha

An alpha is the strongest as well as the leader of a werewolf pack. Three betas are required for a simple pack . The bigger the pack, the stronger the alpha. In addition to packs with betas, there are also pure alpha packs. A beta can become an alpha itself by killing its alpha. If a human is bitten by an alpha, the alpha usually either dies from the bite or becomes a beta werewolf. However, if there is immunity to the bite, there is no conversion, but other side effects can occur (see Kanima and Lydia Martin ). Furthermore, the wounds inflicted by an Alpha heal much more slowly. Another significant ability of the alpha werewolf is that it can suppress its own trail . An alpha's eyes glow red. He can use his roar to cause his pack members to transform (or evade). He has a special bond with everyone in his pack.

True alpha

A special form of the alpha is the "true alpha", which occurs only very rarely, namely only every hundred years. A Beta or Omega can become a "true alpha" not by killing another, but by sheer strength of character. The eyes of a "true alpha" shine red, like those of a normal alpha.

beta

Betas are the most common form of werewolves and are part of a pack. A beta someone can be from birth or become through the bite of an alpha. Betas have a mental connection with their alpha through which they can be called and partially controlled. Especially in the first time after the bite, and especially on full moon nights, they are drive-controlled and do not have the necessary self-control, so that werewolf hunters quickly become aware of them. Betas' eyes glow yellow. If they kill an innocent person, their eyes turn blue.

omega

Omegas, the lone wolves , do not belong to any pack and are mostly considered to be the scum among the werewolves. Omegas also get blue eyes as soon as they kill an innocent person. Otherwise they will have their normal eye color.

The term "Omega" can also be used pejoratively, in the sense of an insult, for lower-ranking beta werewolves.

Werewolf hunter

Werewolf hunters are people who have set themselves the goal of decimating the numbers of werewolves . They have their own code of honor for hunting, but it is not binding. For example, only werewolves that have been proven to have injured or killed people should be killed. In addition, no younger werewolves, especially children, should be killed. Killing people is also prohibited. Furthermore, a werewolf hunter who has been bitten is expected to commit suicide. The position of women among the werewolf hunters is special, as it is they who ultimately make the decision about killing a werewolf. Findings about werewolves and other shape-shifters and creatures have been collected and passed on for generations in a so-called bestiary .

Werewolf hunters' hunting weapons include pistols , crossbows , bows and arrows , stun guns and hunting knives . The cartridge cases and arrowheads are usually filled with monkshood, which is supposed to prevent rapid wound healing . Stun grenades , traps and swords are also used in the hunt , and night vision devices and ultrasonic sensors are also used to track them down . Electricity is occasionally used for torture. A low tension means that werewolves can no longer transform, but also that wounds no longer heal quickly. A high current flow can be fatal.

Kanimas

Kanimas are not werewolves, just like they are shapeshifters. Kanimas are a mutation of werewolf genes that cannot fully complete their transformation until a past problem is resolved. Unlike werewolves, a Kanima (in its beta form) is not looking for a pack, but a master. When the master of a Kanima is dead, he looks for a new one. A kanima is roughly the size of a human, has greenish scales , a long prehensile tail and claws that secrete a secretion that can paralyze its victims for several hours . In its alpha form, it should also have wings.

Druids

Druids ( Gaelic "the wise oak") are important advisors to a pack of werewolf. Usually only the alpha knows who the druid of the pack is. The identification symbol of the druids is the five-fold knot. A special place for druids is the nemeton, a sacred tree.

After that

"Darach" (Gäl. "The dark oak") is the name for a druid who has strayed from the right path. As part of a ritual sacrifice , he wants to kill three people from five groups of people - namely virgins, warriors, healers, philosophers and protectors - in order to gain their abilities. In the first 6 murders, the Darach executes the triple death. Blunt force applied to the back of the head, strangulation with a choke iron, cut throat. He committed the subsequent murders by hanging the victims by their hands. The same rope is tied around the victim's neck. As long as the victim is still strong, he succeeds in pulling himself up a little on the rope so that he can breathe. As soon as the strength slackens, however, it no longer succeeds and it dies from strangulation.

Kitsune

A kitsune ( Japaneseキ ツ ネ"fox" ) is like a werewolf a shape changer. There are a total of 13 different types (including thunder), including the nogitsune (Japanese 野狐), a dark kitsune. How strong each kitsune is depends on the number of its tails. At first you don't have any, but gradually you “deserve” some. Kitsune have a natural aura. This shines brightly and is reminiscent of flames. It has the approximate shape of a fox and lies over the human figure of the person. Werewolves can perceive the aura with their special eyesight. Skilled kitsune can also hide their aura from werewolves. They are mostly treacherous and devious. But this does not mean that true personality is the same. According to a myth, they can create a so-called fox fire by rubbing their tails together.

Onis

Onis (Japanese 鬼 "demon"), also called "ninja demons", are demon warriors who aim to identify the nogitsune . They wear Hannya masks , a kind of ninjutsu uniform, and ninjatōs . Her eyes glow greenish-yellow. Their shape is shadowy and they only show up at night. You are neither good nor bad. Other supernatural beings mark them with the Japanese character “己” (Japanese onore , which resembles a mirrored “5” and means “he / she”) as a sign that the wearer is not possessed .

Wendigos

Wendigos are cannibal shapeshifters who must feed on human flesh and blood to survive. They have double-row fangs, their eyes are white, and they make a growling noise, although their voice can also become a high-pitched screeching sound. A wendigo has similar supernatural powers as a werewolf, but not the same self-healing powers.

Chimeras

Chimeras (English Chimera , from Greek Χίμαιρα Chímaira ) are creatures created through medical experiments that have supernatural abilities, but are not strictly speaking. The aim of these experiments is to combine different skills of one species with those of another. All chimeras contain two different sets of DNA.

Hellhounds

The Hellhound (eng. Hell Hound ), which is found both in Greek and in Norse mythology, the dead and guardian is considered the guardian of the supernatural. He has the ability to go up in flames and is also very strong physically. A Hellhound's eyes glow orange. He also has the ability to overcome rowan barriers.

banshee

In the show, a banshee is someone who feels the death of others and has a fatal scream. In the original, banshees are women who weep bitterly stayed with the families of the dead. They are also called mourning women. In the series, the cry of the banshee can be heard from supernatural beings for miles. A banshee cannot be paralyzed.

Anuk Ite

The power of Anuk Ite lies in turning neighbors or even entire cities against each other. He does this by increasing anxiety and the associated emotions, such as B. Paranoia or panic caused in its victims, so the Anuk Ite does not have to use physical violence himself. His abilities reach so far that even people who are not violent have an increased potential for violence. Similar to the Nogitsune, it feeds on the fear it spreads in order to become even more powerful and dangerous, and it has no DNA. Probably because of his power, the Anuk Ite was a prisoner of the Wild Hunt and made it through the rift that Lydia, Scott and Malia created to bring Stiles back to Beacon Hills. The Anuk-Ite looks for a human host for each of its two faces. In contrast to the Nogitsune, humans then apparently no longer exist in the host body and are completely taken over by the Anuk-Ite. If both halves of the Anuk-Ite come together, a being emerges that resembles the initial body without skin, but has bright purple eyes. In its final stages, the Anuk-Ite may not be viewed as it kills with just one look.

Ghost rider

The Ghost Riders are part of the myth of the wild hunt. They come with a thunderstorm, appear and disappear with the wind, and in some cases leave foliage on the ground. The Ghost Riders are immune to pistol bullets. They are invisible and can only be seen by the people who will take them next. You can ride lightning bolts and get into any building. With their revolvers and lassos they can remove the "marked" people from reality. In doing so, they do not delete the person's existence, only the memory of that person. In addition, they can bring a hellhound under control. However, they have no self-healing powers and can therefore be injured.

Nemeton

A nemeton is a tree that functions as a sacred site that is consecrated by druids. You choose the largest and oldest tree in a grove. This then becomes the heart of their rituals and represents the world. The Beacon Hills nemeton is now just a tree stump, but this one holds the nogitsune captive. With the death of a virgin (Derek's childhood sweetheart Paige) at the roots of the nemetone, it gained new strength. This acts like a beacon for supernatural creatures and draws them to Beacon Hills. Furthermore, the new force released the nogitsune.
