Budling ( German Bidlingen ) is a French commune with 176 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Thionville and the canton of Metzervisse .

Budling is about 14 kilometers east of Thionville .

history

The village has belonged to France since 1659. The hamlet of Bousbach ( Busbach ) belongs to the municipality of Budling .

The neighboring town of Veckring was incorporated from 1811 to 1901.
