Günther Huber (bobsledder)
Günther Huber (born October 20, 1965 in Bruneck ) is a former Italian bobsleigh driver .
Günther Huber comes from a sports-loving family from Bruneck in South Tyrol ; his brothers Norbert Huber and Wilfried Huber won medals in luge at the Olympic Games in Albertville and Lillehammer .
Günther Huber was a bobsleigh pilot.
At the 1994 Olympic Games in Lillehammer , he and brakeman Stefano Ticci won the bronze medal in the two-man bobsleigh behind the two bobsleds from Switzerland .
Günther Huber celebrated his greatest success in 1998 at the Olympic Games in Nagano ; together with brakeman Antonio Tartaglia , he won the gold medal in the two-man bobsleigh at the same time as the Canadian bobsleigh by Pierre Lueders / David Mac Eachern (both times: 3: 37.24).
At the world championships in two-man bobsleigh , Günther Huber won the silver medal with Antonio Tartaglia in 1997, and in 1999 he won gold.
Günther Huber also won the World Cup three times.
