EHC Memmingen
After the bankruptcy of the SC, the ice hockey club Memmingen, founded on March 10, 1994, began playing in the Bavarian regional league - the lowest division - and immediately rose to the next higher division, the Bavarian regional league. The sporting goal, the ice hockey Bayern league, was missed by a narrow margin, but the team moved up into the league due to the waiver of EV Berchtesgaden .
In the spring of 1999 the EHC succeeded in the qualification playoffs for the Regionalliga Süd against the EHC Klostersee the promotion to the Regionalliga Süd 1999/2000 .
When the Regionalliga Süd was abolished for the 2002/03 season, the EHC moved up to the Oberliga Süd 2002/03 . The license for the club was still managed, but after the end of the season an application for bankruptcy had to be filed . The spin-off of the league team into a Wölfe GmbH to continue the game operation failed and the club was excluded from the Bavarian State Sports Association in summer 2003 .
