The New Zealand national cricket team's tour to India in the 2017/18 season took place from October 22nd to November 7th, 2017. The international cricket tour was part of the 2017/18 international cricket season and included three ODIs and three Twenty20s . India won the ODI and T20 series 2–1 each.

prehistory

India previously played a tour against Australia , for New Zealand it is the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in India in the 2016/17 season .

A scandal broke out when, before the game, a groundskeeper was filmed by a TV team with a hidden camera offering to manipulate the pitch . He was then released and the pitch was intensively inspected before the game was played.
