Anoux is a French commune with 265 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality is part of the Briey arrondissement and the Pays de Briey canton (until 2015: Briey canton ). The inhabitants of Anoux are called Aulnois .

Anoux is about 14 miles west-southwest of Thionville . Anoux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mairy-Mainville in the north, Tucquegnieux in the north and northeast, Val de Briey in the east and southeast, Lantéfontaine in the south, Fléville-Lixières in the southwest and Norroy-le-Sec in the west and southwest.
