Épiez-sur-Chiers is located about 80 kilometers northwest of Metz on the Belgian border and on the Chiers , which borders the municipality in the west and southwest. Neighboring municipalities of Épiez-sur-Chiers are the Belgian municipality of Rouvroy in the north, Allondrelle-la-Malmaison in the east and northeast, Charency-Vezin in the south and Velosnes in the west and northwest.
