Villers-la-Montagne (German: Bergweiler , Luxembourgish: Biergweller ) is a French commune with 1501 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ).

Villers-la-Montagne is south of Longwy . Neighboring municipalities are Haucourt-Moulaine in the north, Hussigny-Godbrange in the east, Tiercelet in the south-east, Bréhain-la-Ville in the south, Morfontaine in the south-west, Laix in the west and Chenières in the north-west. Route nationale 52 (N 52) runs east of the community center .
