Waville is a French commune with 429 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Briey and the canton of Pont-à-Mousson (until 2015: canton of Chambley-Bussières ). The inhabitants are called Wavillois .

Waville belonged to the former province of Trois-Évêchés and is located 24 kilometers east-southeast of Metz in the Lorraine Regional Nature Park . Waville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chambley-Bussières in the north, Onville in the east and northeast, Villecey-sur-Mad in the east and southeast, Prény in the south and southeast, Rembercourt-sur-Mad in the southwest and Saint-Julien-lès-Gorze in the West.
