Venues of the BGL Ligue 2018/19 |
The 2018/19 BGL Ligue was the 105th season of the Luxembourg top division in men's football. It began on August 5, 2018 and ended on schedule with the last match day on May 19, 2019.
Attendees
For the 2018/19 season, the clubs that had occupied places 1 to 11 in the previous season were joined by the two direct promoters from the honorary doctorate and the winner of the barrage game between the third of the honorary doctorate and the 12th of the BGL Ligue of the season 2017/18 added. As a master of the honorary doctorate, Etzella Ettelbrück returned to the BGL Ligue after a two-year absence. Runner-up US Rümelingen managed to immediately rise again. Victoria Rosport prevailed in the barrage game against the 3rd of the honorary doctorate UN Käerjéng 97 and thus managed to stay in the league.
Before the start of the season
Before the start of the season, 118 newcomers were added to 121 players leaving. Master F91 Dudelange made two of the most spectacular transfers with the commitment of the Serbian national player Milan Biševac from the French first division relegated FC Metz and the former Dortmund player Marc-André Kruska .
The teams from Differdingen , Bad Mondorf , Rosport and Strassen started the season with new coaches.
