Bahnhof is a former residential area in the town of Leichlingen (Rhineland) in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis . The settlement area was created in the area of ​​the Leichlinger Bahnhof after its commissioning on the Gruiten – Cologne – Mülheim railway line opened in 1867 . The living space is now part of the extensive urban residential and commercial development in the station area and is no longer perceptible as an independent settlement.

The station is located in the western Leichlingen city expansion, which was created after the station opened. In the 19th century, the station was one of the residential areas in the Leichlingen mayor's office . In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province in 1885, 25 residential buildings with 194 inhabitants are given for the train station. In 1895 the place had 34 houses with 232 inhabitants, in 1905 61 houses and 378 inhabitants.

In the first third of the 20th century, the residential area lost its independence with the expansion of the Leichling town center and the expansion of the settlement areas of the surrounding residential areas.
