history

The modern, political districts of the Habsburg Monarchy were created in 1868 when the political and judicial administration was separated.

The Polna District was formed in 1868 from the judicial districts of Přibyslau ( Czech soudní okres Humpolec ) and Polna ( Německý Brod ).

In 1878 the judicial district of Stecken was split off from the judicial district of Polna, for which 19 predominantly German-speaking communities fell to the judicial district of Stecken.

On October 1, 1884, the Polna district was dissolved. The judicial districts Stecken ( Štoky ) and Polna ( Polná ) were assigned to the Deutschbrod district in the course of the establishment of the Royal Vineyards District, the Přibyslau judicial district came to the Chotěboř district.
