Hakan Arslan (born July 18, 1988 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .

Club career

Arslan played nine years for the youth team of Istanbul Güngörenspor and was promoted to the professional team there in 2007. During his time at Güngören he played as a midfielder and scored 14 goals in the 2009/10 season and was jointly responsible for the promotion to the 2nd division. In the summer of 2011, Arslan moved to the Süper Lig for newly promoted Samsunspor and mostly plays as a defender.

For the second half of the 2012/13 season he moved to the first division club Sivasspor . Here he played regularly as a regular player until summer 2015 and was then loaned to league rivals Kasımpaşa Istanbul for the 2015/16 season.
