The 2007 IBSF World Snooker Championship was the 32nd edition of the World Amateur Snooker Championship . It took place from November 10th to 25th, 2007 in the Sima Thani Hotel in Nakhon Ratchasima and thus for the second time in Thailand after 1991 .

The Thai Atthasit Mahitthi became world champion with an 11: 7 victory in the final against his compatriot Passakorn Suwannawat and thus qualified for the main tour 2008/09 .

The 99 participants were divided into eight groups in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The four best placed in each group qualified for the final round, which was played in the knockout system .
