The 2012/13 season of the Oberliga Niederrhein was the 57th season of the football Oberliga Niederrhein and after the abolition of the NRW League the first as the fifth highest division in Germany under Oberliga status. The first game day began on August 3, 2012 and the season ended on May 26, 2013. The championship and promotion to the regional league secured the KFC Uerdingen 05 with 23 points ahead of TuRU Düsseldorf . The Uerdingen, who had also become the sovereign autumn champions , were already established champions after 29 games.

The relegation ranks were occupied by Cronenberger SC , 1. FC Wülfrath , VfR Fischeln and Hamborn 07 . The top scorer was Issa Issa from KFC Uerdingen 05 with 30 goals.

The second team of the Wuppertaler SV operated under the name Wuppertaler SV Borussia II until an extraordinary general meeting on May 24, 2013 .
