Saint-Jacques-d'Atticieux is a French commune in Ardèche, in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Sarras and the Arrondissement of Tournon-sur-Rhône . The residents call themselves Saint-Jamaires. Neighboring municipalities are Saint-Appolinard in the northwest, Maclas in the northeast, Vinzieux and Brossainc in the east, Savas in the south and Saint-Julien-Molin-Molette in the west. Saint-Jacques-d'Atticieux formed a large municipality with Brossainc until 1790. This was dissolved after the French Revolution . Since then, both villages have each formed an independent municipality.
