The Ski Jumping World Cup 1989/90 (official name: FIS World Cup Ski Jumping 1989-90 ) was one of the International Ski Federation FIS between 3 December 1989 and 25 March 1990 discharged at 21 different locations in Europe, North America and Asia series of competitions in ski jumping . It was originally planned to hold 25 individual competitions. Two canceled competitions could be moved to another location, so that all 25 individual competitions were included in the rating. Ari-Pekka Nikkola from Finland won the overall standings this season , followed by Austrians Ernst Vettori and Andreas Felder in second and third place . The Swedish defending champion Jan Boklöv took 14th place. Austria won the Nations Cup ahead of Czechoslovakia and Finland . Team Norway , which won last year , was eighth.
