There are currently two different editions. One edition comes with a DVD with a complete film. The DVDs can be played on any standard DVD player and have the logo of the magazine printed on them and a modified DVD menu. A main difference to the regular purchase DVDs is that they usually have their own bonus material and no foreign-language soundtracks. In contrast to the spending of some other magazines that took up the idea of accompanying DVD, it is in the films are original versions - in other words they contain the film in an unabridged version as well as the sound in 5.1 - Dolby Digital format. The Audio Video Bild magazine is also available in a second, cheaper version without a DVD. The last time the January 2020 issue was a DVD, the DVD insert was discontinued for cost reasons. Instead, the more expensive version of Audio Video Photo Image comes with a voucher for a streaming film at Netzkino .
