Baugy is about seven kilometers northwest of Compiègne . Baugy is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Monchy-Humiéres in the north and northwest, Braisnes-sur-Aronde in the northeast, Coudun in the east, Margny-lès-Compiègne in the southeast, Lachelle in the south and Remy in the west and southwest.
