Chevrières is located about 12 kilometers southwest of Compiègne in the valley of the Oise . Chevrières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Grandfresnoy in the north and north-west, Le Fayel in the north-east, Longueil-Sainte-Marie in the south and east and Houdancourt in the west.
The A1 autoroute leads through the municipality .
