Chris Pichler (born January 8, 1969 in Linz , Austria ) is an Austrian actress , singer , speaker, director and author .

Life

After graduating from high school , Chris Pichler began studying landscape ecology, from 1989 to 1992 she studied at the Music and Art University of the City of Vienna (the MUK). After graduating, she became known through the TV recording of her theatrical debut "Kalteehand" by Thomas Baum at the Linz Theater Phönix as the abused daughter Sonja and her role "Kathi" in the multi-part series Der Salzbaron , directed by Bernd Fischerauer. After numerous film and television productions, u. a. There she worked with directors such as Horst Schönemann , Michael Gruner , Amelie Niermeyer and Günther Beelitz .

Since 2006 she has developed solo programs such as Romy Schneider - Two Faces of a Woman , a solo evening composed of letters, texts and diaries by Romy Schneider , which started at the RadioKulturhaus Wien and with which she has since made guest appearances across Europe. Chris Pichler's first solo evening was produced as a radio play and audio book, for which she received the ORF radio play award for actress of the year 2008.
