Location of Dülmen (Odenthal) in Odenthal

Dülmen is a district in Unterodenthal in the municipality of Odenthal in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis . It is located northwest of Erberich on the border with Leverkusen .

history

Dülmen was first mentioned on November 25, 1356 as the farm where Heinrich Haese van den Dulmen lived. For 1399 it is announced that the place is subordinate to the court court wood . In the Middle Ages it belonged to the Bergische Honschaft Blecher .

During the War of the Spanish Succession , the Odenthalers also had to make their contributions to national defense. In this context Dülmen had to provide 1 palisade , 9 fascines and 27 stakes .

Carl Friedrich von Wiebeking names the court on his charter of the Duchy of Berg in 1789 as Dulmen . It emerges from it that Dülmen was part of Unterodenthal in the Odenthal rulership at that time .

Under French administration between 1806 and 1813, the rule was dissolved and Dülmen was politically assigned to the Mairie Odenthal in the canton of Bensberg . In 1816 the Prussians converted the Mairie to the mayor's office in Odenthal in the Mülheim am Rhein district .

The place is recorded on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 and on the Prussian first survey of 1840 as Düllmen . From the Prussian new admission in 1892, it is regularly listed as Dülmen on measuring table sheets .

Since 1966 the place had a supply pipe for drinking water.
