ECHL All-Star Team
The ECHL All-Star Team are two compilations of the best players in their respective positions in the North American ice hockey league ECHL ( East Coast Hockey League until 2003 ), who have been named annually at the end of the regular season since the 1988/89 season . A distinction is made between the First All-Star Team and the Second All-Star Team .
Both teams usually consist of a goalkeeper , two defenders and three forwards . The storm row is divided into a center forward and a left and right winger.
The US defender Chris Valicevic received the highest number of nominations for both All-Star Teams. Between 1996 and 2000, he was a member of the First All-Star Team five times in a row .
