The western boundary runs along the Seligraben torrent. The spell extends further south in a narrow corner over the Ober Gurnigel ( 1548  m above sea level ) and the Zigerhubel (at 1620  m above sea level, the highest point of Rüti near Riggisberg) to the upper reaches of the Gürbe . The torrent is blocked here because of the steep slope, as large masses of debris were repeatedly transported down into the valley after intense rainfall.
