Arrondissement of Château-Salins

The Arrondissement Château-Salins is a former administrative unit of the Moselle department within the former French region of Lorraine (now part of the Grand Est region) with the last 29,756 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013) on an area of ​​974 km². The sub-prefecture was Château-Salins . It consisted of five cantons and 128 municipalities. On January 1, 2016, it was merged with the Sarrebourg arrondissement to form the new Sarrebourg-Château-Salins arrondissement .
