Campi is a French commune with 20 inhabitants (January 1, 2017) on the island of Corsica . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Corte and the Oriente community association founded in 2008 .

geography

The small community is located in the mountains in eastern Corsica. The small town itself consists of a few houses on a street on a narrow mountain spur at about 510 meters above sea level between the valleys of the Tofo and Piedivallo mountain streams . The two brooks unite to the west of the village just before the confluence with the Bravona , which flows south-east to the sea. A point on the orographic left bank of the Bravona in the southwest of the municipality marks the lowest point at 199 meters above sea level, and Mont Sant'Appiano in the west of the municipality is the highest point at 1093 meters. The mountain drops steeply to the coastal plain in the east.

Campi is connected by a road to the neighboring villages of Moïta and Tox , and via the Col de San Gavino , which is 697 meters high, also to the villages of Pietra-di-Verde and Chiatra .

Neighboring municipalities of Campi are Pietra-di-Verde in the northeast, Canale-di-Verde and Linguizzetta in the east (point of contact between five municipalities), Tox in the south, Zalana in the west and Moïta in the northwest.
