Penta-di-Casinca ( Corsican : A Penta ) is a French commune with 3,396 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Corse department on the island of Corsica . Administratively it belongs to the Arrondissement of Corte and is part of the canton of Casinca-Fiumalto . The inhabitants are called Pentolais (Corsican: Pentulacci ).

The municipality is bounded by the Tyrrhenian Sea to the east and the Fium Alto river to the south . Penta-di-Casinca is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sorbo-Ocagnano in the north, Castellare-di-Casinca in the north and north-east, Taglio-Isolaccio in the south, Porri in the south-west, Silvareccio in the west and south-west and Loreto-di-Casinca in the north-west.
