Prato-di-Giovellina

Prato-di-Giovellina is a municipality on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Golo-Morosaglia canton . The residents call themselves Pratais or Pratesi .

Geography, infrastructure

The village center lies in the Castagniccia and is accessed by the D118 département road. In the northeast, the Golo forms the municipal boundary on a short section. The Route nationale 193 and a railway line of the Chemins de fer de la Corse run parallel to this . The neighboring communities are Piedigriggio in the north and north-east, Saliceto in the east, Omessa in the south-east, Castirla in the south, Castiglione in the south-west and west and Popolasca in the north-west.
