Casanova is a municipality on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Corte canton . The inhabitants are called Casanovais in French. The neighboring communities are Corte in the north and west, Poggio-di-Venaco in the east, Riventosa in the southeast, Santo-Pietro-di-Venaco in the south and Venaco in the southwest.
