San-Giovanni-di-Moriani is a municipality on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corsica region , the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Castagniccia canton . The center of the village is in Castagniccia at around 560 meters above sea level. Neighboring municipalities are Velone-Orneto in the north, Santa-Lucia-di-Moriani in the northeast, San-Nicolao in the east, Santa-Maria-Poggio in the southeast, Santa-Reparata-di-Moriani in the south, Valle-d'Orezza and Parata in the Southwest, Monacia-d'Orezza to the west and Piazzole and San-Damiano to the northwest.
