Stazzona , in Corsican A Stazzona, is a municipality in Castagniccia on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Castagniccia canton . The residents call themselves Stazzonais or Stazzuninchi . Neighboring municipalities are Verdèse in the north, Monacia-d'Orezza in the northeast, Rapaggio in the southeast, Carcheto-Brustico in the south, Pie-d'Orezza in the southwest and Piedicroce in the west.
