Altiani is a French commune with 48 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Corse department on the island of Corsica and belongs to the Arrondissement of Corte and the canton of Ghisonaccia . The residents call themselves Altianais or Altianinchi .

geography

The village is at 618 m. ü. M. in the Corsican Mountains. The municipality and the surrounding area are largely forested. The lowest point is in the Tavignano valley at 159 m. ü. The Route nationale 200 runs there . The departmental road D314 connects the expressway with the village center, a scattered settlement and the D14.
