Castifao

Castifao is a municipality on the French island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corsica region , the Haute-Corse department , the Corte arrondissement and the Golo-Morosaglia canton . The residents call themselves Castifinchi.

geography

The settlement area is on average more than 500 meters above sea level and consists of the villages of Piazze, Paganosa, Petrera and Piana. The neighboring communities are Novella in the north and in the northeast, Pietralba in the northeast and in the east, Morosaglia in the southeast, Moltifao in the south and in the southwest, Vallica in the west and Olmi-Cappella in the northwest. A stream called La Tartagine has its source in Castifao.
